Another related issue. Products in the BIN are being listed too! Basically all products no matter if they are private, public or in the bin (trash) come up in the feed. Any tips?

I’m considering creating a custom field to filter by, which the company scraping the feed will be able to hook into and not display products based on that custom field. That is, unless you can offer a solution which hides private and trashed products.

@admench , did you get a solution for this? I’m getting binned products in the feeds too.

Hey @sablednah – I ended up ditching this plugin and creating a custom feed, which checked on certain custom fields as to whether or not to list the products. A manual approach.

I followed this guide closely, customising it for my own purposes:

Hi @sablednah – Can you please explain your problem briefly? so that I can fix the issue. Are you getting draft products into feed?

    Hi @wahid0003,
I’m getting trashed products in the feed. Products in the bin aren’t excluded.

Any idea on this. Tested repeatedly, products in the bin ARE included in the feed.

    How can i fix?

    Hi,

I think you did not Trash your products properly. Or Maybe they are demo products you did not delete properly. Either you have to delete those products from the database or you have to use the product filtering functionality to skip those products. Product Filtering functionality is only available in our premium plugin.

I used the regular “trash” link on a product view page.

If by not properly – you mean they are still n trashed status. Then yeah they are – as they are pending review. Once confirmed by processes we will empty the bin.

Regardless – you shouldn’t be including binned products in a feed like this. And saying to pay for a premium option to filter out products clearly not meant to be included – is chutzpah of the highest order…

    I’ll fix myself.
