    Hi there,

I’d like to output the download image of a PDF file in a custom template.

F.e.: when a PDF file is uploded for a new download, there are also some images generated in different dimensions.

How can I post one of them?

    <?php $dlm_download->???(); ?>

Some help would be great ??

  • Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Are you referring to the “Featured Image” that can be set for each download or something else?

    Hi Harish,

    thank you for your reply.

No, I don’t mean the “featured image” option.

I mean, if there is a possibilitity, to display automatically the generated JPEG image of the PDF download file. If I check the download folder of the PDF file, there some JPG’s automatically generated, which I would like to use as a preview of each PDF file.

    Hey Barcelo,

I regret to say that is not possible as our plugin saves the file in a protected folder.

    Hi Harish,

    thats what I was guessing… ??

Is there a way / option to stop the automatic generation of these image files?

    Regards
    Barcelo

    Hey Barcelo,

I regret to say there is no way to stop that. The reason we added this was to avoid 404 errors that WordPress generates when it’s unable to create those thumbnails.
