Output meta description tag based on selected language

    Hello,

    I wonder if there is a way to generate a meta description tag in the head section based on the selected site language. I am using the pre-path mode of this plugin.

    So this is an example of the result I would like to have:

    English version (www.example.com):

    <head>
<meta name="description" content="English description">
</head>

    German version (www.example.com/de/):

    <head>
<meta name="description" content="German description">
</head>

    Any help will be appreciated.

  • You can use the languages with square brackets, but it is much easier to use the “All in One SEO Pack & qTranslate-X” -Plugin.

    Thank you for your suggestions! I didn’t even realize that my post was actually submitted because it wasn’t showing at first but I already solved my problem using the plugins Yoast SEO and Yoast SEO & qTranslate-X. I can recommend this solution as well.
