outlook365 SMTP Access

    Hi ,

    I’ve been trying to set up SMTP with an outlook365 account but keep getting messages after the test email about password expiration:
    5.7.139 Authentication unsuccessful, user password has expired. [KL1PR02CA0012.apcprd02.prod.outlook.com 2024-04-26T06:49:44.941Z 08DC647D1D1D6BFE]

    The IT team already set up SMTP authentication on the outlook server and we also reset passwords to see if it was an issue but the problem remains the same.

    Any ideas what is causing this?

    I hope you are doing well.

    Please create an app password for your Outlook account and then integrate that password into the Post SMTP plugin. Once you’ve done this, kindly inform me of the outcome. For further guidance, you can refer to the App Password Guide provided here.
