Hi guys, I am experiencing a strange issue I can`t resolve, nor my hosting provider could have resolved. I am using both Outlook Android app and Outlook 2021 desktop version to get order emails from my WooCommerce shop. Outlook app works seamlessly but desktop I am experiencing sync issues with Outlook 2021 – emails are not delivered in my Inbox instantly and sometime it takes hours before I see them in my Inbox. I force Send/Receive manually many times but it does not help. Sync is set at a possible minimum of 1 minute. I was using the same Outlook 2021 with another hosting provider and it was working just fine, but I did not use WP Mail, they had their own in house mailing system, but since I switched to another hosting, they recommended WP Mail as an option. Did you come across this particular issue with Outlook 2021 sync? I have spent hours trying to fix this with my hosting and we tied everything: emails are delivered to a server instantly, sent to my Outlook App instantly, but for some reason there is a huge delay with Outlook 2021. Could you help please?

  • Hi @bhagwanincense,

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delayed response!

Please know that we are the support team for WP Mail SMTP. WP Mail SMTP is a WordPress plugin that helps to improve email delivery from your website by ensuring your email lands in inboxes instead of spam folders or being rejected by the server.

The issue you have raised seems to be an issue with the email client for your personal emails – which is outside the scope of our plugin.

It’s important to know that WP Mail SMTP only helps with sending out emails sent from your website, such as Contact Forms, user registration emails, password resets, etc. It does not control or affect the personal emails under that domain.

I suggest you check with your email hosting provider or troubleshoot from the email client on your desktop. I hope this helps. Thanks ??
