    Hi Tom,
    First of all, I really love using your theme! I’ve been looking for a theme like this and it’s working great for me!
    I am currently trying to make the content area and the footer widget area line out with the navigation bar. The nav. bar is set at 1100px and the photo that i want to put on my home page is also 1100px wide. I’ve been trying to find the padding that causes the problem but cannot find it. Also, I would like the photo to place directly underneath the nav.bar. so that there is no white space between the two. Here’s a link to my website, https://tinyurl.com/qz4broo. I hope I have stated my problem clearly enough and that you can help me out.

    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Vincent

    Hi Vincent,

    I’m currently out of office (on my phone) so I can’t check out the code right now.

    Just wanted to let you know that I’ll be back home this evening and will help you achieve this as soon as I’m back.

    For now, you can set the Footer Widgets area to be contained so it will be the same width as the contained header/navigation.

    Then I’m assuming you want to remove any content padding so your image fits snug with the container?

    Our Element Spacing add-on allows you to adjust the padding, but I can also give you CSS to achieve this when I get home.

    Thanks!

    Hi Vincent,

    Back in my office now – thanks for your patience!

    Ok, so GP has a built in class that will remove any padding around the elements inside the class.

    So, wrap your image in this:

    <div class="ignore-xy-spacing">
          YOUR IMAGE HTML IN HERE
    </div>

    That should do it ??

    Hi Tom!

    Thats’s exactly what I was looking for!
    Because this way it doesn’t change the lay-out of the other pages, just the lay-out off this 1 image. Great, thank you very much!
    Even on a saturday, you take time to help me out, exceptional support Tom ??

    Best regards,

    Hi Tom,
    The fix discussed in our old thread here doesn’t seem to be working anymore. There is a white space again between my navigation bar and the image below it. I couldn’t get this fixed with the ignore xy-spacing css that you gave me or with the element spacing feature of GP premium. Can you help me please? How can I clear the white space between NAV bar and image below it?

    Thank you in advance!
