The number of link clicks to a certain destination that GA4 (through MonsterInsights) shows is way below the number of “conversions” in OptinMonster campaign analytics. GA4 should count every link click. So, I think, this is a bug in OptinMonster.

    Hello @porton,

    Thanks for writing in.

The way OptinMonster counts conversion is based on the fact if we have enabled conversion tracking or not on a specific CTA. If you have enabled Conversion Tracking on the close button as well, it would be counted as a conversion so the stats would mis match.

Can you please check that out and ensure its setup properly?

I still don’t understand why GA4 conversion count does not work with OM: I configured GA4 to produce conversions on certain link clicks (clicks to the “destination” site). Clicks to this destination site in OM dialogs are not counted, weirdly.

    Hi @porton,

It sounds you are already a subscriber of OptinMonster with access to Priority Support. Since you have an active subscription with us, could you please login and submit a support ticket through the your OptinMonster account dashboard when you have a chance??

From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at your campaign directly.?

    Thanks!
