Outgoing clicks to sites not linked to from anywhere on my site

    Today in my Jetpack stats, I saw a bunch of outgoing clicks to sites I don’t link to from anywhere on my site. I scanned for malware (and had my host check) and it came back clean. And it’s odd because these don’t seem to be spammy links; for example, some of them are to independent musicians, but NOT in the style of music I cover on the site. None are to pharmaceutical or porn sites or anything particularly suspicious. But I am still concerned. I have searched my posts and database to be sure that nothing links to them. Are they any known Jetpack glitches that might be responsible?

    Hi there, @bobgourley,

    The good news is that those sites aren’t spam, but are somehow related to the niche/industry of your site.

    I wonder if perhaps they’re being added by another plugin or your theme (most likely a plugin)?

    You may want to try disabling the plugins one by one and see if you still get those clicks.
