The plugin works great, but I either can’t get outbound links to show up, or maybe I just don’t understand its purpose or function.

    1) I have “Track Outbound Links” set it “YES”
    2) I have “Enable spy mode” set to “YES”

I have a link on my WordPress site to a different page I developed using RVSItebuilder. When I click on the link in WordPress it does not show up under “Recent Outbound Links” in Slimstat. Maybe outbound links are only intended to work within WordPress pages and not external pages?

What is the URL of the page where the outbound link is? And what’s the link on that page?

Thanks for the reply and here is some more information if it helps. Today I also tried different browsers and still no result (IE and Firefox). On the “Content” page, other than the “Average Pageview” graph and “Your Website”, the only other populated area is the “Top Authors” box. On the Overview page, the “Spy View” field is populated. As I said, everything else seems to be working OK.

What is the URL of the page where the outbound link is?

That’s not an ‘external’ url ?? WP SlimStat considers external urls those that have a different DOMAIN name.

SOLVED. I see; thanks for explaining that. I was thinking “external” meant external to WordPress. Pretty new to all of this. I can rely on Google Analytics to supply that information. Your program still supplies me with the other missing WordPress specific information.

We may be able to introduce an option so that you can mark links that YOU consider external with a special class, which the plugin will then track as outbound/external links ??

Maybe something to consider adding, however just a nice to have feature for me. I am not using the information for anything critical. Google Analytics tells me that someone came from my WordPress page, and I don’t really have to know what they pressed to get there (I offer two ways), although I could see where someone would want to know this in order to find the effectiveness of their buttons, urls, etc.
