‘Out of the box’ it started working and only got better

  • I install the free version of WordFence on every WordPress install and other than a few tweaks leave it alone but I had a client come to me who’s previous developer (to put it kindly) didn’t know know they were doing at all and the site got hacked, injected and was serving up malware.

    We rebuilt the site for them and as I said, before we went live I installed WordFence and when it went live WordFence started blocking attempts almost immediately.

    I tweaked a lot of the settings (Great UI tools for this) and WordFence got even better.

    This is a MUST HAVE plug-in for every WordPress install and yes, the Premium upgrade is 100% worth it for business sites
