    Hello,

I’m having an issue with the Layered Nav widget in WooCommerce. Out-of-stock size variations (e.g., XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL) are still showing in the filter with counts, even though they should be hidden.

I’ve tried custom code and other solutions, but the sizes remain visible. I need to display only the sizes that are in stock.

Could you please assist with resolving this issue?

    Thank you!

    Hi @thaerjamaly ,

I understand you’re facing an issue where out-of-stock product variations are still appearing in the Layered Navigation filter widgets.

To clarify, are you using the AJAX Layered Navigation plugin to create these widgets? If so, please check the Hide Attribute if filtered counts gets zero option from your widget, as shown in the screenshot below:

If you’re not using this plugin, could you provide more details about the issue? For example:

    • When did the issue start?
    • Are you using any plugins to add this functionality?

It would also help if you could share how the issue looks on your end. If you don’t already have a screenshot tool, you can use Snipboard.io to easily share screenshots.

Additionally, reviewing your current System Status Report can give us more insight into your setup. You can find this report by navigating to WooCommerce > Status in your dashboard. From there:

    1. Select Get system report.
    2. Click Copy for support.

Once you’ve gathered this information, please paste it into a Code block in your reply or use pastebin.com to share the link with us.

Let us know once you have this information, and we’ll assist further!

    Hi Jonayed,

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, I’m using the AJAX Layered Navigation functionality provided by the theme/plugin to display the filter widgets. However, I couldn’t find the option “Hide Attribute if filtered counts get zero” in my setup.

Here are some details about the issue:

    • The problem is that out-of-stock variations (e.g., sizes XS, S, M) still appear in the Layered Navigation filter with a count, even though they’re out of stock.
    • This has been happening for some time and persists across different attempts to fix it.
    • I haven’t added any specific plugins for filtering beyond the ones already integrated into my theme (WoodMart).

I’ve attached screenshots of the issue below for reference.

I’ll also provide my System Status Report for further context.

    Looking forward to your assistance!

    Best regards

    Hi there!

From your screenshot, it looks like you’re using the classic widget for filtering by product. I’ve tried to replicate the issue on my test site, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the problem.

To assist you further, could you please share the exact page URL where you’re using these filters? This will help us investigate and provide more accurate assistance.

Additionally, since the “Filter by Tag” widget is working fine on my test site, it’s possible there’s a plugin or theme conflict causing this issue. I recommend running a conflict test by following the steps outlined in this article: How to Test for Conflicts.

Let me know how it goes!
