Out of stock threshold FLOATING number

Hello there. Is there an option to set out of stock threshold to 0.5 ??
I have got a plugin and I have set decimal quantities in products. The problem is that I want all products to automatically change status to “out of stock” when quantity is under 0.5.

example. Product A has got 1.5 quantity. A customer buys 1.1 of Product A.
Product A’s quantity is changed to 0.4 so, product status changes to “out of stock”. (0.4 is smaller than 0.5).
