    Hi,

we are using this plugin in order to connect Mailchimp to WooCommerce. We just wanted to activate the automated product recommendations within Mailchimp which look at the item inventory passed over from the connected store to determine if a product is available to be recommended.
Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to work correctly and it seams that the inventory isn’t passed in correctly because also products which are out of stock are being recommended.
This is the article from Mailchimp about the product recommendations:
    https://eepurl.com/gv_o2b

For example this product was shown in the recommendations even though it is out of stock:
    https://www.der-buntspecht-shop.de/produkt/baumwolljersey-kunterbunte-bluetenpracht/

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks a lot!
I also checked out some issues on GitHub and it seems like you already fixed this issue for hidden and inactive products in Version 2.1.2. So it should be easy to accomplish.
For reference, this is the Issue on Github I am referring to:

@yournetgbr thanks for the additional background information on the past fix. I’ve also brought this to the attention to our development team. Hopefully a similar solution can be reached. Since that last fix there have been quite a few changes.

    Thanks again for our patience.

    Ok, thanks a lot!
When will we get an update on this?

Unfortunately, we can’t give a specific date as to when an change can occur. Though this has been fixed before, form talking with the engineers, there seems to be some other details that need to be considered and applied. All that to say from the support side of things we don’t have insight on exactly how long development on this particular issue will take.

However, I can assure you they’ve been made aware and it has become an action item to get solved.

Gotcha, will we get informed once the issue has been resolved?

@builtbyjordan Du you have any news on this topic?

@yournetgbr unfortunately not at them moment, I reached back out to our developers for an update on any progress or plans and right now there doesn’t seem to be anything on the current horizon. It’s still on the radar as far as I can tell. I wouldn’t be able to give much information beyond this point right now.

This thread has been recorded in our internal tooling for tracking progress on development so once something does happen. Someone if not myself will update you.

    Thanks again for your patience.

    Hi @builtbyjordan,
I saw that you marked this as resolved. Even though it isn’t. What is the current status on this?

    (@khungate)

@yournetgbr, thanks for reaching back out. This particular request is in hands of the Mailchimp team that works on product recommendations, and isn’t something that the plugin has control over at this time.

If we have any additional updates on developments we’ll be happy to ping you back on this thread. Otherwise, we’ll keep it closed out as it isn’t relevant to the plugin feature set.

Thank you for the update. Can I somewhere see or be updated about the development status of the Mailchimp Team on this?
