Hi, I’ve successfully upgraded to WC 3.01 but have encountered a bug with WPAI.

I import new stock and update the stock status of existing products (approx 4000 products) using WPAI. I have ‘Hide out of stock items from the catalog’ ticked in WC to ensure that out of stock products are not displayed in the shop.

Issue: After upgrading any out of stock products controlled by the WPAI CSV are being counted and displayed with blank space in product archives. This causes major display issues with the shop and product sorting.

WPAI changes the stock status effectively but I know that Visibility is controlled by a taxonomy in 3.0 – product_visibility. If I manually change a product to out of stock from within WC admin the product behaves correctly. Similarly if I change a misbehaving imported product to in stock and back to out of stock it is fixed.

Ideally I would love to just import all products and change their status using WPAI. Currently I have deleted all out of stock products (approx 800) till I find a fix.

    Hey @dougyboy

We just pushed an update to our WooCommerce add-on with a fix for the product visibility. Please update and try this again.

Thanks but unfortunately it hasn’t worked for me. I installed the update (1.3.3), imported a new CSV and again all outofstock products show as blank spaces in the product archive pages.

I then have to manually change them to instock and back to outofstock status via the WC admin panel to fix. I have approx 5k products with about 20% generally outofstock so is a lot of extra work.

    Any word on a fix?

I can confirm ‘outofstock’ products still take up space after you import them.

    Hi @dougyboy

That’s very strange, I cannot replicate this issue with the latest version of our add-on – the imported out of stock items are being hidden, whether I update an existing import or import into existing items.

Can you check and confirm that you’re updating all of the stock fields in the import via Manage Imports -> Import Settings -> Choose which data to update? See screenshot: https://goo.gl/d1CfwA. If you are updating all of these fields, we’ll need to take a look at your import data/settings to understand why this is happening.

Please replicate the issue at https://www.wpallimport.com/debug/ and open a support ticket at https://www.wpallimport.com/support/ so we can have a look at this. Be sure to include a link to this ticket for reference.

Product visibility issue is fixed with the WP All Import update (3.4.3).

    Thanks all

I also get blank spaces in archives and categories.. I have about 5000 products, and 2500 is out of stock and creating wrong taxonomy numbers on categories, and white empty spaces if product is out of stock.

Have try to fix in 4 days now, without finding a solution.

I import _stock _manage_stock and _stock_status, but still same thing? Is it anything more I have to check?

    (got latest updates)
