Hi @bohobelle22
I hope someone can help. my site is still showing Out of Stock products and getting this error: You cannot add that amount of “Retro Floral Paisley Print Vest Top – Large” to the basket because there is not enough stock (0 remaining).
From what I understand, you’re encountering an issue where your out-of-stock items are still appearing in your catalog, despite having the ‘hide out of stock items’ option enabled in your WooCommerce settings. You have also attempted to resolve this by regenerating the Product lookup tables and recounting terms, but the issue persists. I appreciate the steps you’ve taken to resolve this and I’m here to help you further.
Firstly, please verify that your WooCommerce plugin is up-to-date. Outdated versions can sometimes lead to unexpected errors. You can check this by going to your WordPress dashboard, then Plugins > Installed Plugins. If an update is available for WooCommerce, you’ll see a notification here.
Next, let’s double-check the ‘Out of stock visibility’ setting. Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory. Make sure the ‘Hide out of stock items from the catalog‘ box is checked. This should prevent out-of-stock products from appearing in your catalog.
If that’s already correctly set, try clearing your WooCommerce transients. You can do this by going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and clicking on ‘Clear Transients‘. This will clear temporary data stored by WooCommerce and might solve the issue.
If the problem persists, it could be due to a conflict with your theme or another plugin. To test this, temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme (like Storefront) and disable all other plugins except WooCommerce. If this resolves the issue, you can reactivate your theme and plugins one by one to identify the culprit. Here’s a helpful guide on how to test for conflicts: ?? How to Test for Plugin and Theme Conflicts.
If none of these steps work, could you please share your site’s System Status with us? It will give us a better understanding of your site’s setup and help us identify the problem. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status
. Select Get system report
and then Copy for support
.
Also, if there are any fatal error logs, please share those with us as well. You can find them under WooCommerce > Status > Logs
.
Once you’ve gathered this information, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com to paste it and share the link with us.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation in this matter! We’re here to help you get this sorted.
