I have out of stock products showing on my shop despite having “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” enabled in my woocommerce settings.

These products show up with a “read more” button instead of “add to cart” as shown here: snipboard.io/fDl9ua.jpg

I have tried to troubleshoot by disabling all themes and plugins and only having woocommerce enabled, but the problem still persists in the same way.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @madeleineroseelliott,

To help us better assist you, could you please share a screenshot of your inventory settings in WooCommerce > Settings > Products (Inventory tab)?

Also, can you provide a screenshot of the product settings? (Please ensure the “product data” and other information are covered)

In the meantime, can you navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and “Regenerate” Product lookup tables as well as “Recount Terms” and see if that helps?

Let me know how that goes so I can help further.

I am just regenerating and recounting terms now.

No luck after regenerating or recounting terms unfortunately, out of stock products are still showing in the same way.

    Hi there,

Thanks for trying this. I do see https://www.thatleisureshop.com/boil-it-1-5l-whistling-stainless-steel-camping-kettle/ as out of stock at least.

I took a look at your shop via: https://www.thatleisureshop.com/shop/ and it looks a bit off in my browser: https://d.pr/i/onEzab

What theme are you using? Is this shop overview coming from your theme or is it Elementor?

    Kind regards,

    Hi there @madeleineroseelliott ??

Thank you for sharing those screenshots with us!

Based on what I can see that page is using Elementor and JetWooBuilder. It’s very likely that they are conflicting with the “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” option.

I tested this out on my end using the Products by Category block and it works fine: https://d.pr/v/Ch4B4D

In your case, you could consider switching to one of the default WooCommerce Blocks (such as Products by Category), or reach out to JetWooBuilder so that they can investigate why their block still shows products which should be hidden.

    I hope that this helps!

Thank you both for your support.

@conschneider Thanks for flagging, it certainly should not look like that! I have just resaved the page and seems to have gone back to normal. Not sure what happened then.

@joashrajin thank you, that does make a lot of sense. I’ll reach out to Jetwoobuilder and see what they say.

    Hi @madeleineroseelliott!

Thanks for getting back to us.

Glad to hear that you fixed the shop page and you’ll be in contact with JetWooBuilder for further assistance. For now, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved – but we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue or have more questions.

    Cheers.
