Please tell me about the necessary settings for the reverse proxy configuration.
The website is currently configured as a reverse proxy system that communicates from a front-end cache server to a back-end origin server.
I think All IP addresses may be seen as cache server IPs by Wordfence, our cache server IP is determined to be a virus and blocked.
We have just added that IP to the white list, but If there are any necessary settings on the cache server side, we will take care of them as needed.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @shnt08,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

If your server is behind one or more proxies, you use the “Edit trusted proxies” setting to add the proxy IP addresses or ranges.

To do this, go to Wordfence > All Options > General Wordfence Options >How does Wordfence get IPs and click on the text link +Edit trusted proxies to add the IP address.

You may find the “How does Wordfence get IPs” section informative too at: https://www.wordfence.com/help/dashboard/options/#general-wordfence-options

The reverse proxy may need to be configured by your host to pass the user’s correct IP value to the site so that Wordfence can detect it.

I hope this helps you out.

    Thanks,

    Janet
