    Hello.

I just installed Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP as it seems to give a lot more options than a previous plugin. But I made some tests at the Google Structured Data Tool and this seems to be in conflict with other plugins.

I understand you are compatible with both Yoast and The SEO Framework. But your plugin is deleting the information of those other two.

When I test a webpage with your plugin deactivated, Google detects 5 article schemas, 1 hentry and a breadcrumbs list. I understand the articles schema comes from Yoast, the Breadcrumb List from The Seo Framework and the Hentry from my theme.

If I activate your plugin and run the test again, all this is deleted and I only get a Site Navigation Element and a BlogPosting schema.

Should this happen? Is there any way to avoid it or import the information from other plugins to yours so that information isn’t lost.

I would like to keep the Article Schema in all entries and then use your plugin to select BlogPosting or NewsArticle for different texts as required.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

On further investigation, disabling compatibility stops your plugin from deleting anything. But I don’t think this is the way it was supposed to go is it?

We remove their schema and use their data already and we also remove the microdata (which can controlled by disabling “Micro data cleanup option” from Advanced settings).

With this plugin, you can add any Add BlogPosting, Article and NewsArticle schema from Schema section of the plugin. It will use the values from the SEO plugins only.

We do that because you can have full control on of the Schema of your site.

Hope that helps you understand, if you still have doubts, then let me know. I will help you clear them.

Thanks, I have better understood now, and while there were problems with The SEO Framework, they seem to have been solved after the last update.
