Other Plugins keep treating Content Blocks as ‘posts’

Thanks for this great plugin, but I’m having some real problems

a variety of other plugins keep treating content blocks as posts — things like related post plugins (two different ones) or featured image plugins

I’ve got Content Blocks in widget areas using Shortcodes – and if on a Post page that would normally have related posts or whatever, all the widget areas that have content blocks also get related posts displayed, this also happens with a plugin that displays featured images in post content.

other widgets don’t get triggered

the content blocks don’t trigger this on ‘pages’ just posts

its as if they see the Content Block as the same as the content area…or something like that – the Block uses the same element ID or something they are looking for

this is a Genesis Theme

any clue?
