    I use Astra Pro which supports schema markup and SEOPress which adds schema markup. I activated your plugin. Here are the settings I picked:

    Template tags> Enable Astra theme support >replace post meta
    Schema> Enable JSON-LD Schema Markup> I DID enable JSON-LD Markup
    Schema> Select Post Types for JSON-LD Markup> I added posts & pages

    BUT when I save then check this with Google’s structured data tool, it shows this:

    <meta property=”og:updated_time” content=”2019-03-20T10:45:23+00:00″ />
    <meta property=”article:published_time” content=”2018-06-29T01:34:57+00:00″ />
    <meta property=”article:modified_time” content=”2019-03-20T10:45:23+00:00″ />

    Shouldn’t it only be showing the modified or updated date? This makes me think I have something set wrong.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @atakken

    I have checked you post:
    https://masterpieceskinrestoration.com/thread-lift/

    But there is no last modified date showing on frontend. Replace Post Meta option just replaces the post published date with modified date on frontend if you have enabled post meta display. But I think you have kept disable the post published date ( now showing only category and author name ).

    Schema> Enable JSON-LD Schema Markup> I DID enable JSON-LD Markup
    Schema> Select Post Types for JSON-LD Markup> I added posts & pages

    Have you cleared your cache? If not please clear it and check it again on structured data tool.

    Thanks!

    Hi Sayan,

    Thanks for your quick reply!

    I did clear the cache both on my host and in WP. Then I did it again after I got your reply. Still get the same result with the publish and modify date showing in Structured Data Testing Tool.

    Are you saying that my site needs to show the modified publish date on the front end of the post to show the modified publish date in the SERP? I didn’t enable the modified publish date on the front end because on my pages it was showing in a weird spot (because I use full width rows and put margins around my text and pictures). I figured I’d start adding them in manually – as in typing them in myself as I update.

    Thanks so much for your help!

    Hi Sayan,

    I now have Astra Pro displaying the modified date on my posts. But after clearing the cache, it’s still showing both the publish and modified date when I validate in the Google Structured Data Tool:

    <meta property=”og:updated_time” content=”2019-01-25T12:32:22+00:00″ />
    <meta property=”article:published_time” content=”2018-12-12T16:15:00+00:00″ />
    <meta property=”article:modified_time” content=”2019-01-25T12:32:22+00:00″ />

    Hi @atakken

    <meta property=”og:updated_time” content=”2019-01-25T12:32:22+00:00″ />
    <meta property=”article:published_time” content=”2018-12-12T16:15:00+00:00″ />
    <meta property=”article:modified_time” content=”2019-01-25T12:32:22+00:00″ />

    This part is for Facebook OG, not for Google.

    https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fmasterpieceskinrestoration.com%2Fblog%2Fscience-based-health-benefits-meditation%2F

    Here you can see an item ‘CreativeWork’ is showing in the right panel ( ignore the left panel as it is the just codes of your website ) and there an item ‘dateModifief’ is already created by this plugin. Now just wait for some days to reindex by Google.

    Thanks!

    Hi @atakken

    There is a Report type schema markup present in Google Schema Trst Tool and it has datePublished Markup. So please disable the output of Report type schema.

    Thanks!
