Hello, I run a network with multiple domains and I wonder if the images could be shown in their original site path, instead of using the same domain for all the media.

If you don’t see this as an essential feature, could you please tell me at least is it’s possible so I can search for someone to make the tweak for me?

    Best regards!

There’s a setting in the admin menu under settings with a check box to not change urls.

Thanks for the reply, it works almost perfect, only it changes the URL of the featured image. But keeps the other URLs from the post gallery, as the original. If the featured images URL could be fixed, would be awesome!

When checking the box the featured image url shouldn’t be messed with.

    I have this checked https://prnt.sc/w9xoem

But all the image URLs are changed to the site URL I’m displaying the shortcode.

Okay I’ll look in to it. One note is it does work with the fifu featured image from url plugin for a temporary fix.

Since there are excellent featured image from url plugins for free out there I’m not going to spend anymore time. I’m going to make sure it remains compatible with the following plugin.

I will being removing it in the future.

Hi, thank you for the reply. Now all the images from the posts body have the urls changed. I know it worked at some point but I didn’t check for one month or so and I updated wordpress in this time. I have the plugin Network Posts Extended installed on two wpmu installs(only one has fifu installed), I tweaked those checkboxes a lot but all the urls are the same. All I need is the images from the text body to keep the original URLs

Please let me know if you think it is a simple tweak, I would hire someone from Upwork. Or if you could take a look that would be even greater!

If you don’t mind can you try the latest version to see if it fixes the problem?

Go here https://support.agaveplugins.com/contact and fill out the form so I may send you the download link. I’d like to have it checked out before I submit it for an update.

Note: I strongly recommend you use a featured image from url plugin from here after. This feature I will no longer support by the end of fall.

    Thanks John
