Original image size?

    Hello,

    I searching for plugin who can handle my needs.

    When I upload original image does plugin compress that original image or just new image generated after upload (I mean on thumbnail, large, woocommerce and etc?

    This is important for me because I need original image to stay untouched (I offer free images for download and can be compressed)

    Hi!

    With the Backup option enabled, your original images are kept in a separate folder (wp-content/uploads/backup) before the optimization process.

    The thumbnails are optimized, and your original images remain as they are.:)

    I’m not sure does that do what I need.

    My file name path:

    mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/year/month/date/file-name.jpg
    and that path used for woocommerce products.

    So if I use your plugin, original file change location and I lose original file location or new file is compressed on same location or I don’t get it right? Both not working for me.

    Hi!

    The original untouched file is moved to:
    mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/backup/year/month/date/file-name.jpg

    And the optimized file is located at:
    mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/year/month/date/file-name.jpg

    That mean I need to change all woocommerce products…

    The author can correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that all you need to do is uncheck the following from the settings page.

    shop_thumbnail
    shop_catalog
    shop_single

    Long story short, is that you have full control of the options you’re mentioning.

    I need to comperes woocommerce thumbnail and all images but original need to stay untouched.
