original home page missing

I would like to find out how do i get the theme back to the original format as i initially clicked on to follow exactly as the sample site..but i think i accidentally deleted the page under pages but when i restore it , it wont get back.. when i go under widget i still am able to see my settings there… its my home page.

i suspect its the homepage widget. i cant seem to add it anymore to my static page.
