• I’m trying to brainstorm my approach on a new project I have of creating a WP site that displays about 30 products.

Products will be organized by category (precisely 3 different categories) and within each product is a full sized image of the product and a basic text description. The part I’m trying to figure out the best approach to is that each product needs to also display thumbnails for the different colorways provided for that product. When a specific colorway is clicked, the product’s full-size image will swap to that product in that colorway.

So I wanted to grab a few different opinions on how others would organize WordPress to handle this structure. My first instinct was to go ahead and just use a simple page hierarchy:

Pages –> Product Category –> Products –> Individual product page would have all the product information and each colorway would just be an image in the page’s gallery.
