We are now using Organizers to obtain the function of editing a frontend submitted event. I am not seeing a way to associate an event with an organizer. I am not seeing a way for an organizer to submit an event or for the shortcode [submit_event_form] to select an Organizer.
In the admin dashboard for WP Event Manager, the All Events lists has an Organizer heading, but the Edit function has nothing to set it or change it. The shortcode [organizer_dashboard] shows no events (likely due to ours having to be marked private by club requirement) and no way to link events with organizers.

Our real goal is to get to a way to edit and/or delete an event on the frontend, which are the missing CRUD as we can create one using [submit_event_form] and view them [events].
Seems to me you need a new shortcode [edit_event_form].

  • Hi @mshragesnetnet

If you don’t see the organizer selection then just make sure that you have enabled organizer from the backend Event Manager -> settings -> general.
Once the organizer is enabled then set up organizer submit and dashboard page settings from Event Manager-> settings pages.

This will show you organizer selection and add organizer on the submit event page. Using submit_event_form shortcode or event_dashbaord shortcode you can manage event edit, delete, and all the operations from the frontend. It might be not working because you haven’t set up pages settings correctly.

    Thank you
