Organize posts on homepage

    Hi,

    I want to organize my homepage with certain blog posts, but it just shows the recently posted posts. I don’t know if it matters that it is technically a landing page and not is own page, so I was able to make it static. How can I organize which posts are showing with blocksy?

    What kind of “organisation” are you looking for, exactly? WordPress is a bit limited in what is available out of the box, but if you can get back to me with more information, I might be able to point you in the right direction.

    I want to be able to organize which posts are at the top of my homepage and and sort them however I would like. Not just have the most recent post showing.

    This is a more advanced query, that needs additional custom code, because you’ll need to modify the main WordPress blog loop query — something we do not have control over.

    What you can do is create a normal homepage and integrate various [blocksy_posts] — https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/docs/developers-general-developers/blocksy-posts-shortcode/ — shortcodes onto it. In this way, you’ll be able to keep things a bit more organised, by category, for example.
