Organize post categories – two categories got lots more posts than others

  • I’m running a website where two post categories is imported data via rss.
    The other categories is basicly in-house production.
    The two post categories has _lots_ more posts than the other categories, and I’m wondering if I should find a way to organize these two categories as a custom post type, to get them “out of the way” when working with the other categories.
    I know I can filter by category, but basicly I would like it better if the posts from these two categories where invisible in the admin-area by default, until I decide to work on them..
    Anyone got a good tips how to get this organized in a good way? Plugin?
