Organize album

  • Hi !

    I use nextgen gallery to display a list of galeries with this shortcode : [album id=0].

    I’ve questions about that :
    – 1/ Currently I see last galeries at the end of the list, I want reverse order, last galeries display in first position, there is an other shortcode to do that ?
    – 2/ How I can reorder galleries, I know how to reorder photos in a gallery but not galeries in my list, I can’t modify id for example.
    – 3/ What is the shortcode to list all albums in compact template ? I mean automatically.

    Hi @eclectic77 – you can actually go to your settings at Gallery > Manage Albums, and adjust the sort order from there. When you add the shortcode to your page, the order will already be sorted as you want it to be.     Thanks, if I use album, how I can liste list automatically all albums in compact template ?

    @eclectic77 – the Compact Album template will let you select which albums to display, so if you have your albums pre-made and ready to go, you can simply add a Compact Album to a page and it will contain whatever you added to it.

    Yes I understand that, but I’ve many albums, I want to list them without adding shortcode each time I create one.

    @eclectic77 – with the Insert Gallery interface you can add them all with just a click or two for each – when you add them Album to a page via the interface and select Compact Album as the display type – you’ll be prompted to select “what to display” – you can add as many albums as you want.
