    Hi

Great plugin to allow for shortcodes on the events calendar.

Is there anyway of displaying the Organiser name using the shortcodes?

Would be great to get this info in there

    Thanks in advance,
Happy to code this in myself if anyone has any ideas of how to go about adding this functionality.

    ??

    Hi @mikemcox,

    Glad you’re enjoying the plugin!

Currently there’s no built in way to output the organiser using a shortcode option. In the pro version there’s the ability to customize the templates and add the organizer(s) in, for example:

    https://eventcalendarnewsletter.com/events-calendar-shortcode-pro-options/#customize-default

Otherwise you’d need to customize using some PHP and use one of the available hooks/filters to output the organiser (or organisers since events can have more than one) where you’d like, ie. the ecs_event_list_output_custom_... filter.

    Cheers!

    Hi Brian,
thank you for your great plugin that really helps!!
I subscribed for the pro version, and I also need to display organizer’s name in event list (compact), very important for my client.
I try to understand how to do it with filter and so on, but that’s out of my range….
Can you tell me more or eventually share a snippet like you did handly for creating new filter in the filter bar? That would just awesome!
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Laurent,

    Glad you’re enjoying the plugin!

Since this is related to the pro version, could you submit a ticket here with your license key and I can try to point you in the right direction?

    Cheers!
