    Hello,

    We have received emails about few orders but they’re not added to woocommerce list of orders. Also, the problem is, order numbers mentioned in emails are already used.

    So we have 2 different orders with same order number. In total, we got 3 order numbers like this, each matching to 2 orders.

    What could be causing this? I just updated plugin after issue was found, so maybe it was issue of previous version? And how do you suggest we solve this?

    @webtoffeesupport what do you suggest for us to do about those few orders before you release a patch?
    They’re not even added to wocommerce orders, we only received emails.

    We have addressed the sequential order number duplication issue in the latest version of our plugin. Please update to version 1.5.3 and verify that the problem has been resolved. Thank you.

    Our plugin is designed to generate sequential order numbers based on WooCommerce orders. We couldn’t replicate the issue you mentioned regarding orders not being listed on WooCommerce orders. Could you please confirm the emails you received from the same WooCommerce store? It’s possible that the emails originated from a staging or development environment. That is why it is not available in the WooCommerce store.

    @webtoffeesupport Thanks, we’ve updated the plugin but no change for current issue. Hope it will avoid future problems at least.

    We’ve checked again and yes, it’s definitely from the same store. Link of order goes to dashboard with text:

    “You cannot edit this item because it is in the Bin. Please restore it and try again.”

    The thing is, we haven’t removed them and all such orders had duplicate order numbers. Any idea what might have caused this? and how to fix?

    Thank you for your response and we are sorry for the delayed response while we are checking the issue. It appears that the issue you’re encountering may be related to duplicate orders that have been moved to the bin. Could you please provide us with the post IDs of those orders? This will allow us to create a custom code snippet to modify the sequential order numbers of those orders and resolve any duplicate numbering problems when you restore the orders.
