    Hello. Today, all my orders began to get stuck on pending despite receiving a notification of payment. I have to manually click each order to processing and they no longer show the paypal transaction linked to the order.

    Could anyone help me fix this problem?

  • Paypal identity token is workaround in case the order not drop, but the status will be on-hold due to no IPN confirmation

    Some – not all – of my missing Paypal order notification emails turned up in my Inbox at some point overnight… Something appears to be happening somewhere ??

    Hi everyone,

    As of 12/09/2018 at 19:22 Sydney Australia time one of my Pending WooCommerce orders received it’s IPN from PayPal and went into Processing state.

    It seems that this issue may be resolved and hopefully the remaining Pending orders will receive their IPN’s when the next auto retries from PayPal occur.

    Still haven’t received any PayPal payment notification/s so far.

    Hi all,

    We saw several reports of the issue; however, PayPal never reported an outage with their IPN:

    That said, we have seen reports that it’s now working so we recommend trying again. PayPal’s IPN is consistently inconsistent and you may want to consider disabling IPN and use PDT instead:

    Make sure to use one but never both or you may see unnecessary duplications.

    This issue usually lies with PayPal not responding back. I’ve been thru this before and usually it’s because they’re updating the IPN on their end. You could play in the sandbox and test but eventually it’ll comeback after they’re done. You can also call them and speak to Support unlike WC.

    Seems to be solved now at my end.
    I did renew my API cert again yesterday just in case it was relating to that.

    See @bp7hb post further up the thread then amend your WP plugin with the new Paypal API credentials it gives you.
