Orders Stuck in Pending. No Email Confirmations.

  • Help! I am using WooCommerce for the first time and LOVE the ease of use and look. However, all my test orders go straight to Pending status and no emails are sent to Admin or Shopper. Also, I can’t even manually change the status of the order. I have spent 3 days searching for ansers and have tried the few suggestions I have found but to no avail.   • I found the problem was not with WooCommerce per se but with the theme I was using. The theme needed updating to a more recent version, compatible with the latest updates to the WooCommerce plugin.

    If anyone is having the “Invalid email address” issue, make sure you have not removed all billing details at checkout! I removed them all and found that this prevents them from downloading products once purchased. It seems Country and Email needs to be there for the download to work.
