  • Same problem here…

Maybe the plugin author has abandon this

    Hello,

that usually happens when WooCommerce cannot receive the proper notification about the purchase being finalized. Most of the times it is “just” because when configuring PayPal in WooCommerce you didn’t use the primary email of your PayPal account.

Anyway, you can run a test as follows:

    1. Disable my plugin
    2. Test the purchase with a product that has both “Downloadable” and “Virtual” checked in its properties
    3. If the order is again staying in “Processing” then we can safely say that the problem is in the payment notification from the Gateway

    Hi Mirko G.
    Thanks for taking the time!
    I appreciate it. It’s a good test.
    Have a nice day

I have the same problem except I am not using Paypal, but First Data Global Gateway.

Customer sees the order as “processing” and does not get an email or a redirect to the course (this is a learning management system site).

    Hi Charlie,

In order to exclude some common problems:

    1. Did you activate the plugin? In which mode? (From Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Woo Extra Options)
    2. Can you try to deactivate the plugin and test the purchase of a downloadable+virtual product? Does it work?

    Cheers

Plugin was just updated. I manually changed the order status from “processing to “complete” which generated an email.

Isn’t there a way to automate this? It’s confusing to the student.

    Hi Charlie,

please confirm you ran the test I mentioned above otherwise I cannot understand the origin of the issue:

    1. Did you activate the plugin? In which mode? (From Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Woo Extra Options)
    2. Can you try to deactivate the plugin and test the purchase of a downloadable+virtual product? Does it work?

    Thanks,
    Mirko

The problem was resolved through Misc Settings in my Theme which is a Learning Management System theme. Great theme developer, but that won’t help you all. Sorry.
