    Hi

    [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway]

Whenever a payment is completed the order is automatically the WC status is set to “complete”, provided the order is virtual.

I figure that this a feature, you are assuming the order is going to automatically completed by the system, this is not my use case, I sell digital products that have to “delivered”, like a virtual meeting that is going a happen in a few days or an online course that needs to start at a certain date.

At this moment, I am changing the WC status manually in ALL this cases, my ideal status o “processing”.

Do ypu have a setting or a filter that allows this?

    Thank you so much

    Hi @caban13

I understand your situation with the automatic completion of virtual orders. Please note that if the product is both Virtual and Downloadable, like shown in this guide, it will be set to complete automatically.

However, if the product is only “downloadable,” you’ll need to mark the order as complete before the customer can access the product, as explained in this guide about digital/downloadable products.

I’m thinking that if you set it as “downloadable” but not virtual and offer something like a downloadable invitation to your digital meeting or online course, it could work? Would you be able to consider it or give it a try and let me know if this approach works for you?

Thank you for your response. What I am looking for is a way to customize the standard behavior of WooCommerce. I may not be in the right forum for this inquiry.

I was looking for a hint, about a custom code.

It is not a difficult question.

    Thank you very much
