    Hello @chrismacor

Thanks for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.

It looks like the answer to where the problem is coming from is in the order notes. The “Payee does not have a PayPal account” error seems to indicate that the PayPal account connected to the plugin contains incorrect details. This error usually happens when the API credentials are invalid:?https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/wiki/Common-errors#the-payee-does-not-have-a-paypal-account

My first option to get this resolved would be to reconnect using the onboarding wizard with the Activate PayPal button: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-paypal-payments/#connect-paypal-account

Please let me know if this helped you to resolve the issue or if you need us to take a closer look.

    Looking forward to your feedback.

    Regards,

    Krystian

    Sorry for the delay Krystian.

I responded to the email notification thinking that would get to you.

I have already deactivated the account and reactivated it using the wizard.

    The issues persists.

Would you recommend deactivating the account and reactivating manually?

Again, sorry for the delay and thanks for the help,

    Christopher

    Hi @chrismacor ,

Yes, we would suggest manually onboarding. You can find the steps here. Let us know how it goes and let us know if it works. If it does not work, let us know so that we can work through it together.

    Best Regards,
    Jamie

    Hi Jamie,

I manually entered the credentials and at least the client ID was different.

However, now when I test the checkout, the paypal login appears but then disappears after a few seconds. Also, the pay by credit card option is not showing.

    Thanks,

    Christopher

    Hello @chrismacor

If you’ve followed the onboarding process correctly and are still having issues, please test in a controlled environment. Disable all plugins except for PayPal Payments and WooCommerce, and let us know the results of this test.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
