    I understand that your orders are being put on hold due to a PayPal Pending reason: UNILATERAL. This typically means that the email address you’ve entered in your WooCommerce PayPal settings is not recognized as a valid PayPal account or has not yet been verified.

    Please ensure that the email address is correct and associated with an active and verified PayPal account. Once you’ve done this, your orders should usually be processed.

    If you continue to experience issues, please let us know which PayPal payment gateway you are using. I can see that you have two plugins active to accept payment via PayPal.

    The address of the paypal account is the administrative email of the website.

    The “from” email is set to this same email.

    Is there another place where the email needs to be entered?

    How do I ensure that the email is verified?

    I just turned off the Paypal checkout plugin leaving only the Paypal plugin enabled.

    Are the two plugins redundant?

    The email address for your PayPal account needs to be entered in the WooCommerce PayPal settings. You can find this under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal. Ensure that the email address entered here is the same one that’s associated with your active and verified PayPal account.

    To verify your email with PayPal, you’ll need to log into your PayPal account, go to your account settings, and follow the steps to confirm your email address. PayPal usually sends an email with a link to complete the verification process.

    Are the two plugins redundant?

    The Payment Gateway for PayPal on WooCommerce and WooCommerce PayPal Payments are not redundant. They offer different features and payment options, but you can certainly use just one if it suits your needs. Disabling the Payment Gateway for PayPal on WooCommerce plugin and only using the WooCommerce PayPal Payments is fine if it meets your requirements.

    The correct email is entered in the Woo commerce paypal settings and the email is verified with Paypal. These have been correct all along and yet orders are still on hold . What do you suggest?

    I understand the email and settings have been correct all along. Just so we can have a better understanding, are you able to remember when the issue started?

    Also, do you remember making any changes before the issue started, such as updating or installing plugin(s)?

    In the meantime, please share a screenshot of the order notes from an order that is marked as ‘on-hold’. Please be sure to remove any personal or sensitive information and share the screenshot using https://snipboard.io/.

    Hi @chrismacor

    For better assistance, can you provide screenshots showing the PayPal setting on your end? Especially, check if you have configured the PayPal plugin to authorize payments rather than capture them.

    Additionally, how did you configure the PayPal payment method? Are you using Sandbox information or live information? If you use a Sandbox account, can you please manually change the Sandbox Client ID, Sandbox Secret Key, and Sandbox Webhook ID to match a new Paypal App?     They suggested I disconnect and reactivate through the wizard but I’ve already done that twice. I responded and asked if I should reactivate manually. Haven’t heard back yet. Thanks for your continued support.
