    I have 2 issues which are connected. I am experimenting wit no. 1 at the moment and it should be possible to fix, so finding a solution for no. 2 is most important.

    1. One Woo Commerce order out of 3-4 ends up being On Hold when returning from PayPal.

    2. When I set the order to completed the customer still does not get his download link and if I resend order information the customer get a mail with the link but the link doesn’t work and they get redirected to my frontpage.

    One Woo Commerce order out of 3-4 ends up being On Hold when returning from PayPal.

    Can you confirm you have configured the IPN correctly for PalPay as shown in the support documentation below:

    After doing that, PayPal will send the necessary information to correctly update the order status.

    When I set the order to completed the customer still does not get his download link and if I resend order information the customer get a mail with the link but the link doesn’t work and they get redirected to my frontpage.

    Does this issue happen after switching back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce? If not, then re-enable each one at a time until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

    Yes it does. I have not yet been able to resend order information/downloadlinks that work.

    The link to the downloadable file is sent within the order details email after payment has been processed. That said, you can resend the order from the Edit Order page using the Order Actions found in the top/right:

    Use the Email Invoice/ order details to customer option there to resend that email with the download link included. If that does now work, then the issue is likely with the active theme or another plugin. You’ll have to attempt using the above recommendation if so.
