I have this strange issue all of a sudden with orders not processing when someone puts in their credit card and clicks to finalize checkout. I never had this issue before but all of a sudden it seems to be happening randomly. I cannot pinpoint the exact cause but I have gone through checkout myself and it doesn’t happen to me. I checked the logs for the most recent complaint and it doesn’t show anything specific. I’m just wondering if you have reports like this from anyone else. The only thing I can think of that is a recent change is the addition of LINK by Stripe showing up in the name field. I’m going to disable that to see if I get less complaints about checkout not working.

    Hi @qwik3r

We’re always getting support requests from merchants about checkout issues but it’s almost always related to their theme or a 3rd party plugin that they’re using.

What card form are you using?

    Kind Regards,

Version 3.3.43 released. It was discovered that if a form other than the Stripe payment form was being used, there were instances where clicking the Place Order button did not result in the checkout form being submitted.

An additional check was added in 3.3.43 to prevent Link from being enabled if a non-supported card form is being used.

That’s interesting. Can you clarify what you mean by a form other than the Stripe payment form? I’m using Elementor for example and their checkout form.

On the Credit Card Settings page of the Stripe plugin there are three credit card design options; the Stripe payment form, Stripe inline form, or a custom form.

This isn’t referencing the checkout form.

    Gotcha, thanks.
