Orders Missing from Order Page

Me sumo a tu reclamo! Woo está descontrolado.

Los pedidos entran desde la APP con un numero de ID diferente al de la web. Algunos pedidos no entran en la web, tampoco llega notificación por mail.

For testing purposes, could you try placing a test order on your site and see if the issue occurs with all orders or if it happens randomly? If you’re able to replicate the issue, I would suggest trying another payment method plugin to see if the issue persists.

I am using the WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin. This is a new site, and to my knowledge, this has only happened with one order. The customer did place a previous order, which failed due to a bank issue, but they returned the next day and successfully placed an order. Their failed order shows up, but not the completed order. I only know about it because of the WooCommerce order email I received. But yes, the payment for the order does appear in our PayPal account.

In the email, you should see an order number like “New order #13585”.
Could you use this number to directly open the Order Edit page?
The URL should be like this:
https://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-orders&action=edit&id=13585

This will confirm whether the order exists in the database or not.

It says, “You attempted to edit an order that does not exist. Perhaps it was deleted?” I definitely didn’t delete it…

It seems like this could be a fake order or spam activity on your site. To investigate further, could you share a screenshot of the email showing the “Order Received” message? That will help us understand what’s happening.

If the order ID isn’t found on your site, it means the order doesn’t actually exist in your WooCommerce database. However, if you’re using a third-party plugin, such as a page builder, there could be a conflict causing this issue. To troubleshoot:

• Deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce.
• Check the URL or attempt the action again.

Additionally, please filter your orders to check if any might be saved as a draft, as the order could be located there. It’s also worth mentioning that if other users have administrator access on your site, they might have the ability to delete orders.

If you encounter any fatal error logs, please share them with me as well. You can find these logs under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Here’s a screenshot of the email. I have redacted personal information for the customer.

I have my doubts that it’s spam. They paid $167 to register for our course, and the transaction in our PayPal account matches the customer’s information. I’ve looked up their business and they’re a legitimate horse boarding facility.

I deactivated all plugins except for WooCommerce and it’s still not showing. No draft orders exist, and there aren’t any fatal error logs. I am the only user with administrator privileges.

I’m sorry, I went back to get that information and realized I had the wrong order number. The order in question is not on the table after all.

Thank you for clarifying. Based on the discussion and your responses, it seems likely that the order was deleted. However, to confirm, it would be helpful for you to conduct a test transaction using PayPal’s test API.

Switch from live payments to test mode, purchase and enroll for a course and check if the order disappears in the same way. This will help determine if it’s a bug or a deleted order.
