    Hello! I’m hosting my site on Rackspace & about 3 weeks ago my WooCommerce site stopped sending email notifications of new orders. ALL other emails – user registration, a thank you for ordering email – seem to be generated correctly. Only the new order notification that should be sent to an admin is affected.

    I have:
    – tried turning off all plugins except Woocommerce
    – tried the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin. That shut off ALL notifications, even the ones that had been working
    – changed the default payment to be cash on delivery so that all incoming orders would immediately be flagged as ‘processing.’
    – tried removing the emails in the New Order settings page to see if it sends to the default.
    – tried turning the notification on & off
    – I had been using off-the-shelf 2013 template. Switched to 2014 for the hell of it. Nothing.

    I’m not sure what else to try, other than telling my admin there’s nothing I can do & she should just check the site every week. Thankfully this is for internal purposes. It just seems silly that this 1 email is the only hangup.

  • Can you try a new different admin email address, to see if the emails are being seen as spam. Even if they are not in the spam folder they could still be being blocked.

    Sometimes an inactive plugin can still be having an effect. You could try renaming the plugins folder using FTP and then create a new, empty plugins folder and upload a fresh copy of WC.

    I can try, but if I place an order from the same email address, I get the receipt email telling me my order is being processed immediately.

    I like the fresh WC approach. I’ll have to try that in the morning. Thanks!

    And no dice – backed up the plugins folder.

    created a new plugins folder & installed a new copy of WooCommerce.

    Still no new order emails going. The receipt email comes through just fine.

    Tried setting the ‘new order’ email to a completely different one that still resolves to me. Still does not come through.

    Another clue is that this problem started occurring sometime after April 10, 2014. The last order placed on April 9 DID generate the new order email. An order placed on April 29 and May 1 did NOT generate the new order email.

    So I’m wondering if I go BACK to version 2.1.6, maybe that will correct things for me? Worth a try I suppose.

    Nope. a rollback to 2.1.6 did not correct things.

    I’m having a similar problem. The emails for New Account, Reset Password, and Customer Note are working, but none of the others are.

    I have just set up Woocommerce (using the Weaver II theme) in the last few days, and so far they haven’t worked yet.

    – Have you tried setting the email type to Plain text?

    Hello,
    I have a problem, one of my order in woocommerce has no email notification but the pay-pal send me a notification for that order.

    Then the next day order has already send the email notification together with the paypal.

    what’s the problem with that order??
