    Hi there,
    I am helping with a WooCommerce store and it seems like they are missing orders in the backend of the site. Customers have placed valid orders and payment was received from PayPal. Confirmation emails were sent but the orders are not registered in the backend of the WordPress site. Furthermore the invoice order number is not following any form of the sequential pattern. Instead of running around the 2450 mark it had one for 1900.

    Any advice and guidance would be appreciated.
    I have tried to search online, however no-one else seems to have this problem?!

    It is not related to missing order numbers / or their sequential series. The actual order is missing from WooCommerce, whilst the confirmation was completed in PayPal.
    WooCommerce experts advised me to cancel the staging site so that there is nothing else available online. However there is no staging site!

    Let’s make sure this is not a theme or plugin conflict with WooCommerce.

    First, backing up your live site before any testing and updates is highly recommended. If you would prefer not to do testing on your live site, first make a back up of your site, then create a staging site using this plugin WP Staging. This creates a copy of your live site where you can make tests without affecting your live site.

    Temporarily switch your theme to one of our default – Storefront or Twenty Nineteen, then deactivate all plugins except for – WooCommerce. If it shows correctly, then it’s a theme or plugin conflict. Reactivating each plugin one at a time, then see if the issue pops up again will tell us which plugin is conflicting.

    Instead of running around the 2450 mark it had one for 1900.

    If I understand correctly the order numbers (shown in emails) are going from 2450 then 1900 (which was purchased after the 2450 order)?

    Could you also provide the system status report here, please?
