Orders arriving even in maintenance mode

Is your site cached? lots of hosts run a caching layer and a stale page may have been served.

I emptied all the caches as soon as I set it to maintenance mode.

They are returning customers so do you think that would have something to do with it?

It’s probably a stale cache on the hosts. It’s hard to tell without deep diving.

It’s not the caching. It seems to be if you are logged in (even as customer login not an administrator) you can access the whole site.

Is there something else we are supposed to be doing?

Ah ok sorry didn’t know you were talking about logged in users.

The coming soon page shows for non logged in user, logged in users see the regular site. We offer role based options in the pro version, but the free version uses just the logged in variable. Sorry for the mis communication. We make a note of that right here. screenshot: https://goo.gl/z6SHG5

Can I double check that if I pay for the pro version, personal price, I can stop anyone apart from the administrators accessing the whole site even if they were previously logged in?

Do I have to download the zip file and upload to wordpress even though I have the free version or is there somewhere I can just add my licence key in the free plugin?

The pro version is a separate plugin. www.remarpro.com does not allow the pro version in the www.remarpro.com repo. Install the pro version, migrate free version settings if you want and then deactivate the free version.
