Ordering with Twitter Block

  • Good morning,

    I use the native Twitter block to display Tweets in the sidebar, but the block behaves differently on desktop and mobile. On desktop, Tweets are ordered so that the most recent is shown on top. On mobile, it seems as if the most engaged with Tweet is shown on top. I would like the most recent Tweets on top no matter what device the viewer has.

    I believe the issue is that Twitter is now only returning the most popular content via API to logged out users, which is not something WordPress has any control over.

    If you log in to Twitter on mobile, does it suddenly switch to most recent?
