  • We have had this problem, but only while using bulk-add ingredients mixed with individually added ingredients. The bulk items will likely show up first. It’s an issue that you’ll never notice until you add an individually added ingredient, and don’t reorder it. Once you reorder any ingredient, even the bulk-added ingredients get an order assigned.

@fadingdust @kaushalchandak Thanks for helping our team track this bug.

As mentioned, this bug applies only to the items API when both bulk and individual items have been added, *and* are re-ordered once or more. It does not occur if items are individually added, if items are only added through the bulk editor, or if items from both types of groups are never re-ordered.

We are tracking this bug in an issue in our private Github repo development, and please contact [email protected] if you would ever like to join active development and submit a pull request for this open source plugin.

    Thanks!

I have a similar problem, except that I also cannot add ingredients, Ingredient headings, Instruction, instruction headings or add bulk listing.
Each time I click on of those options, the screen scrolls to the top, and nothing happens.
I am using WP 4.7.2–en with Simmer 1.3.11
I was able to add these items, prior to the WP update.

    Any thoughts?

@techhouse, it sounds like you are experiencing other, additional plugin conflicts than related to this specific bug report, or issues with your server.

The latest version of this plugin works in multiple environments with multiple themes on WordPress 4.7.2.

Could you report what plugins you have activated and any other details beyond the update that exist when you experience this bug in a new request to [email protected]?

Customers can follow the progress of this bug in the private Github repo scheduled for Simmer Pro 1.2: https://github.com/simmerwp/simmer-pro/issues/69

    Thank you!

Thanks, for the reply Lara. I considered a plugin conflict, but wanted to make sure this wasn’t a known bug, before I begin isolating the problem.
I will get back to you, with my findings.

All plugins deactivated, Simmer ingredients and instructions can be added; except, the ingredients are all jumbled, after I “add in bulk” then add a heading ??
