ordering faq’s

    hi. i am trying to list faq in specific order.
    i used plugin called ‘Intuitive Custom Post Order’
    then I arranged faq’s on ‘All FAQ’s’ list.
    i am using of course order ‘Ascending’ what means ascending order or posts.
    is there possibility to address that?

  • Hi @knurgb ,

    Basically, there are two ways to sort our FAQ’s.

    1. One is using the “Sort By” option in our settings. Settings -> General -> Sort By. We have 4 options: Alphabetical, Publish Date, Updated Date, Menu order. The ordering – Ascending and Descending option will work for these sort By options.

    2. Second is using the Intuitive custom order order plugin, which would allow you to order the faq’s (drag and drop) in any way you wish (in the all FAQ’s section) and will be displayed accordingly in the front-end. To make this work, you have to set the SortBy option to “Menu order” in our settings.

    Unfortunately, the ordering option (Ascending and Descending) is not currently working for “Menu order”. This simply means it will bring the faq’s that are in the All FAQ’s section either from top to bottom (if it is Ascending) or it will bring from bottom to top (if it is Descending).

    We already have this in our bug tracker and will be fixed soon. I will make sure to let you know once this is pushed up.

    Hi.
    I am following exactly method 2 which is not working as you say due to bug.
    In such case will be waiting for fix.

    But on the other hand after you say it is not working, you describe exactly how it suppose to work which is not clear for me.
