Ordering categories of a custom post type

  • A fantastic plugin – seems to work flawlessly for changing the order of custom post types. However, I have a custom post type with a number of categories (which I am calling in the template with the get_categories() function to make a category landing page) which I would like to allow my user to change the order of.

    It allows me to click and reorder the categories in the dashboard. However, when I leave the page, the changes that I have made are lost and the categories return to their original (alphabetical?) order…

    Is there any way to fix this?
