Ordering categories in post

Howdy,

I’ve got posts which have a parent category and a child. However, when the post is displayed, it displays them in any order.

Here the post has the child category first then the parent second.

On other sections on the site, it will list the parent first and the child second.

Is there any way to format these further.. perhaps something like:

Posted in Parent: Child

Any thoughts?
