Ordering

  • Hello!

    When the Main order is set to Relevance and then the Second order to Descending date , the search is partly works. If I search for example something more specific like festival de teatros, it is finding the relevant topics, but not ordering them from the newest to the oldest, here is a quick screenshot

    Hi,

    In that case you may want to change the pimary ordering from relevance to date. The relevance values are likely higher for those results thus they are ordered by that first. By changing the ordering to date will still only display the matches to those keywords, but the relevance calculation will be ignored and the date will be used instead.

    If I change them to Date, then the Relevance is lost ( while the second ordering is set to relevance). Please find the screenshots. The I’ve attached it when I set it in Date ordering and then in relevance.

    Well, the relevance is not lost, but matches with the date are prioritized, regardless of where the match was.

    I would suggest trying a more “strict” keyword setup, maybe something like this: https://i.imgur.com/xBHtmH9.png

    That could work more strictly even if the date ordering is prioritized.
