Orderinfo missing in one order is inserted in the next order

I understand your concern about the missing order information. This is certainly not a typical behavior of WooCommerce and I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

It is possible there might be a conflict with either your theme or one of your plugins. Here’s what I suggest doing:

1. Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront to see if the issue persists.

2. If the issue still exists, deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce to see if one of them is causing the conflict. If the issue is resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one until you find the culprit.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please get back to us with your system status report, which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

Hi and thanks for your reply, the problem is that I don′t know when/how often this happen and because of that I can′t do the tests and can′t replicate it or force it to happen unfortunatly.

I do know that the payment gateway receives the correct information so it must happen after payment is done. The email that gets sent is also empty for the user that has empty orderinfo, and the same applies to the user that recieves “more than he/she paid for” (it reflects in the e-mail).

have you tried replicating the issue by having two test orders at the same time (on different browsers, for example)?

sort of already tried that, I have around 1000 orders per day between 07.00 – 21.00 which mean I have got atleast 1 order/minute all day around and most intense is around 13:00-14:00. where I have several orders per minute. (not every day but many days), today I have had almost 600 orders so far.

I will try and see if I can replicate it/force it, but I doubt it.

Just to note, it would be helpful to identify similarities between affected orders (like type of product, payment gateway, other functionality/detail).

Just got one of these (its been ok for a day or so). I can confirm that it seems to be when two orders are created at roughtly the same time, one order gets empty and the next order gets the other customers products.

I am running all the latest in regards of plugins.

I went ahead with investigating the site’s System Status Report (SSR) and, based on this:

Different vendors, different customers. different times they where bought, I can′t find any pattern at all.

As a next step, I’d recommend reaching out to the marketplace plugin’s support channel (linked here), as it appears to be the common denominator.

From what I understand you confirmed this happens when the orders are made roughly at the same time, correct?

Were you able to replicate the issue with test orders?

If you were, can you please run a conflict test to see if you are able to replicate it in that environment too?

Can you please run a conflict test to see if something external is interfering with this?

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

— Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

— Also, you can consider using a plugin like Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community and it is helpful to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.

— It is important to consider as well a staging functionality in case you would not like to touch your production site (you can ask your host if they offer this service), or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

It is still not resolved however I have two different plugin devs looking into it to see if it is a plugins fault.

Neither the devs or me have been able to reproduce it and it still happens randomly
I will report back with the findings.
