    Dear support team,

We have installed on Friday the Woocommerce Payments Plugin and connected it to paypal according to documentation. The test order was successfull. Unfortunately there were 3 Orders (1 on Fr evening 1 on saturday and 1 on sunday) that were marked as failed with the error message:
“Bestellung konnte nicht abgerufen werden. OrderEndpoint.php:459 Status der Bestellung von Zahlung ausstehend auf Fehlgeschlagen ge?ndert.”

Webhook simulation in backend shows no errors and we made another test order today and it was accepted. What can be the source of this error for 3 different customers?
    Wordpress: 6.1.1
    Woocommerce: 7.1.0.
    Plugin: 2.0.0.
    Best regards,
    Creationell

We did more testing, it looks like Paypal express button works, when you use it from cart, but if you add product to cart and goes to checkout page then the user is not redirected to the paypal page and the order is marked as failed.

    Hi @creationell,

This error occurs when the PayPal smart buttons are not loaded on the Checkout page and the buyer clicks the regular “Place order” button.
This button does not work on a technical level and is supposed to be hidden in favor of the smart button.

The button replacement could potentially fail for various reasons, though.
For example, when the buyer uses an unsupported browser like IE11 or when JavaScript is disabled in the browser.
But there could also be errors on your specific site causing this behavior for everyone, and that’s what’s happening here.
There is a JavaScript error on your Checkout page which prevents the smart buttons from being loaded.

This could be a potential conflict with another plugin or with custom code from the theme. The best way to figure this out is to perform a full conflict test. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists.

Here’s a guide that explains the steps in more detail: How to test for conflicts
Please let us know how this works out for you.
    Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
